Can I Drive a Street Legal Golf Cart on 30A?

Yes, you can drive a Street Legal Golf Cart on 30A, but there are specific regulations and restrictions you need to be aware of. On this scenic stretch of the Florida panhandle, Street Legal Golf Carts are one of the most popular modes of transportation. They allow 30A visitors to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenic beaches in a fun and convenient way.

However, some 30A beach town has their own rules & restrictions when it comes to Street Legal Golf Carts/Low-Speed Vehicles. It is important that you know the rules before you hit the road and risk getting fined or even losing your Street Legal Golf Cart entirely.

Where Can I Drive A Street Legal Golf Cart On 30A?

seStreet Legal Golf Carts can be driven anywhere on 30A, but where you might run into problems is when it comes to parking. Some communities off of 30A have rules against Low-Speed Vehicles being parked or driven within their community boundaries.

This means that while you can drive your Street Legal Golf Cart from one end of 30A to the other, you may not be able to park it in certain areas of 30A.

It’s important to be aware of these restrictions and to park your Low-Speed Vehicle in a designated area that allows Street Legal Golf Carts (This is most of 30A).

See the maps in the section below see where Low-Speed Vehicles are restricted:

30A Beach Towns With Street Legal Golf Cart Restrictions

Along 30A, two beach towns in particular, Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, have strict restrictions when it comes to Street Legal Golf Carts and Low-Speed Vehicles. If you are driving through these communities while on 30A, you won’t have any problems and won’t be breaking any rules.

However, inside these community boundaries, Low-Speed Vehicles are not allowed to park in their parking lots, drive through their neighborhoods, or stop and explore the area. At Street Legal Golf Cart Rentals, we advise our customers that these two 30A communities are considered “drive-through towns.” They offer beautiful scenery to drive through, but stopping and exploring these communities by Street Legal Golf Cart could result in a ticket.
