In the state of Florida, it is against the law to ride a low-speed vehicle with more than one person per seat.

This law applies to all low-speed vehicles, including Street Legal Golf Carts.

Violators of this law may be subject to a ticket/fine and even some circumstances the vehicle may be impounded.

Riding with more than one person per seat can increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision or rollover.

For these reasons, it is against Florida State Law to ride with more than one person per seat when operating a low-speed vehicle/Street Legal Golf Cart.
