Are there any restrictions on the type of Golf Cart I can rent in The Palms?
No, there is no restriction on the type of Cart you can rent if you are staying in The Palms Condos in Seagrove Beach. But, it is highly recommended that you rent a Gas Golf Cart as they may have restrictions on charging/limited access to outlets within the community.
If you really wish to rent an Electric Golf Cart, we do allow our customers to charge their Golf Carts overnight for free at our Seagrove Beach location, but that is a 1.3-mile drive from your vacation rental.
It is an option, but definitely not as convenient as just renting a Gas Golf Cart to start.
If I rent a Gas Golf Cart, where can I fill it up?
Less than half a from The Palms Community is the Tom Thumb Gas Station in Seagrove Beach. If you are staying in The Palms, this is the gas station you will almost surely fill up at.
Other places to fill up on 30A include the Gas Station right next to Blue Mabel in Grayton Beach, the Tom Thumb/Cumberlands Farms on the West End of 30A in Dune Allen Beach, and the Exon Mobile station just off the East end of 30A in the Shades Bar and Grill parking lot.
Note, on a Street Legal Golf Cart the only legal way to access the Exon Mobile station is by going through the Shades Bar and Grill parking lot entrance that is on 30A.
You cannot pull into this station from Highway 98 on a Golf Cart. As Golf Carts/Street Legal Golf Carts/LSVs are all PROHIBITED from driving on Highway 98.
