What type of Golf Cart should you rent if you are staying in Seapointe
The type of golf cart you should rent can be either gas or electric, depending on your personal preference. For those who are planning to cruise all day on a golf cart, we recommend a gas model. However, if you aren’t going to be cruising as often, an electric model could be a better fit.
Our gas carts can travel about 200 miles on a full tank, making them perfect for long-haul trips. All of our electric carts, on the other hand, feature Lithium batteries and can at least go 27 miles on a full charge. Please note that the range on lithium battery-powered carts depends on the size of the lithium battery pack. Approximately 85% of our lithium electric carts have a 100x battery that goes 27-30 miles on a charge.
Below, we’ve listed all the major 30A communities that permit golf carts, along with their distances in both miles and driving time from the Seapointe community. Use this information to help plan your day trips and decide which type of cart best suits your group’s needs.
Blue Mountain Beach
Golf Carts are banned in Alys Beach & Rosemary Beach
GOLF CARTS ARE BANNED IN BOTH ALYS AND ROSEMARY BEACH
The difference between a Gas and Lithium Electric Street Legal Golf Cart
At Street Legal Golf Cart Rentals, we recommend electric carts. Electric carts are faster, quieter, and provide a smoother ride than their gas counterparts. On the other hand, gas carts can be jerkier at lower speeds, louder, and slower. There’s nothing wrong with gas carts, it’s all about personal preference. We’re just sharing our experiences to help you make an informed decision.
If I rent an Electric Cart where can I charge it?
You can charge your electric cart using one of the outside outlets located at your Seapointe rental unit. All of our electric carts come with a charger and extension cord for your convenience.
If I rent a Gas Street Legal Golf Cart where can I fill it up on 30A?
The 30A area has three gas stations for your convenience. The closest to your Seapointe vacation rental is Tom Thumb in Seagrove Beach. There’s also Tom Thumb in Dune Allen, on the West End of 30A. And lastly, there’s a gas station near Blue Mabels in Grayton Beach.
